Get a Free Second Opinion on Your Solar Quote

Solarfying is an independent solar broker. We do not install anything, so there is no system to sell you and no reason to inflate your utility rate — we read the quote you were already given and tell you plainly whether the numbers hold up. Most homeowners are overpaying by $5,000–$10,000 and never find out.

What does an independent solar broker do?

An independent solar broker represents the homeowner rather than any one installer. We review the quotes you have been given, normalize them to price per watt, compare equipment and warranty terms, and flag financing traps like dealer fees and lease escalators before you sign.

How much does a solar quote review cost?

Nothing. Homeowners never pay Solarfying a fee. If you choose to move forward with an installer we introduce you to, that installer may pay a referral fee at the same rate a salesperson would have earned. The review is the same either way.

Is there still a 30% federal solar tax credit in 2026?

Not for a cash or loan purchase. The residential clean energy credit under section 25D terminated for expenditures made after December 31, 2025, and the expenditure counts when installation was completed. Any 2026 quote showing a 30% federal credit on a purchase is overstating your savings.

Which states does Solarfying cover?

Florida, Texas, California, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Illinois. Solar economics are set by state net-metering rules and utility tariffs, so we only advise on markets where we track the actual rates.

How long does the review take?

About 15 minutes. Send the proposal you were given and you get back a plain read on the price per watt, the equipment tier, the financing terms and whether the utility-rate assumptions in the savings math are real.
